After three years of research and development, Genoviva is proud to launch its flat bean variety EVA. Making its debut in Morocco, EVA seduced producers and exporters thanks to its productivity, fruits and great preservation. Genoviva is now starting trials in other mediteranean countries where EVA should soon be available.
Genoviva was represented by its Moroccan distributor, Bodor, during the International Fair of Fruits and Vegetables (SIFEL) at Agadir, Morocco. During the event, many national and international actors were present and Genoviva was honored to receive the innovation prize for its variety, CHRIFA F1. In fact, more than being the first hybrid Slaoui introduced in Morocco, CHRIFA F1 has excellent tolerances during hot periods and homogeonous fruits.
For a second consecutive year, Genoviva was present at the Sahara Fair in Cairo (Egypt) represented by its distributor Agrocomp from July 27 to July 30, 2009. This participation gave us new knowledge about the Egyptian's vegetable market thanks to the numerous meeting with farmers and resellers. Our squash varieties, SOUAD F1 and FAYROUZ F1, eggplant variety SOULAIMANE F1 and hot peppers varieties, HICHAM F1 and AMINE F1, are today well established in the Egyptian's market. Moreover, Genoviva started new trials in this region with the goal to introduce new varieties starting next year.
